Profile
Brian was appointed Postgraduate Dental Dean in Mersey in 2001, after being the Associate Postgraduate Dental Dean at Northern Deanery from 1994 - 2001.
He is also a part-time Senior Lecturer in Restorative Dentistry at the Dental School in Liverpool University, with a special interest in Endodontics.
Brian has been a MFDS and a MFGDP Examiner and held senior appointments within the Faculty of General Dental Practice at the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
He is currently an appointed member of the Specialist Dental Education Board of the GDC and the Postgraduate Dental Dean representative on the GDC's revalidation working group.
Brian was awarded a FFGDP (UK) by election in 2006 for his services to Postgraduate Dental Education.
A lifelong rugby fan both as a player and a referee, Brian now spends his spare time at the gym, fly-fishing and enjoying salsa dancing.
