Non Section 63 - Other Approved courses are courses not funded under Section 63 but which have been approved by the Postgraduate Dental Dean in whose Region they take place.
Application for approval of a Non section 63 course must be made at least three months in advance by the Organising Body to the Postgraduate Dental Dean in the host Region. An application form can be obtained from the Dental Deanery Office.
The granting of "other approved course" status indicates quite specifically that such courses do not attract travel and subsistence payments.
