Many junior doctors would like advice about a possible career in Palliative Medicine

In Mersey this can be obtained either from the Programme Director or the regional Specialty advisor

Often doctors would like to gain some experience of the specialty especially if their current rotation does not include a clinical attachment in Palliative Medicine.

Individual placements can be arranged with a range of units across the region Junior doctors who are interested in exploring this option are advised to contact the Consultant in Palliative Medicine in their own place of work If there are any problems please contact Dr Alison Coackley the Training Programme Director who will be able to help.
