Interim Review

In addition to the ARCP process trainees are required to attend an Interim Review on an annual basis.

This is a specialty meeting between trainees and members of the Paediatrics Exec, including Training Programme Director, to discuss training and assess progress.

If it is identified that a trainee is not achieving the required standard, the Chair of the panel will inform the Lead Associate Dean within 24 hours of this review.

Prior to Review

All trainees will be contacted by the Mersey Deanery office to confirm the date, time and venue of assessment.

Trainees will be provided with and asked to complete an Information Request form and bring it along to the review with them.

Following Interim Review

Trainees will be provided with a copy of notes made at this review.
