Medical Microbiology

The Mersey Deanery offers a wide range of experience to train Medical Microbiology trainees to the standard required for the Part 1 & Part 2 FRCPath examinations.

Organisation of Regional Training Programme

There is one Regional training programme in Mersey Deanery, based upon the 4 Hospital Trusts:

  • Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospital NHS Trust
  • St Helens & Knowsley Hospitals Trust
  • University Hospital Aintree.
