Introduction
The administration for the current Assessment process RITA is dealt with by the This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. at the Mersey Deanery.
Prior to Assessment
All trainee's will be contacted by the Mersey Deanery office to confirm the correct date and time for review.
It will be the trainee's responsibility to:-
- Confirm their attendance.
- Provide the name and contact details of their supervising consultant.
- Provide an up-to-date curriculum vitae, prior to the assessment.
- Bring along their up-to-date Training Record Folders/Portfolio's/Logbooks.
If the required documentation is not available on the day of review, this may result in a RITA form not being issued.

Assessment Tools
Currently SpRs are assessed annually using the RITA Process. However, assessment of trainees is changing, inline with MMC, and Assessment Tools are now beginning to be phased in. Further information about these Assessment tools can be obtained from the MMC Website
